Meditation and Hypnosis

I know of no other single thing so conducive to misery
as this uncultivated, untrained mind.

I know of no other single thing so conducive to well-being
as this cultivated and well-trained mind.

The Buddha

As I start my day today I reflect on Buddha’s comment and realize how true this is and how I have personally experienced this in my life.
I did not know why my life was not working and why I was not happy and why I was not getting what I wanted.

I thought I have to be loved by others in order to love myself and that I have to prove my worth to the world. I did not focus where my natural ability and strength was and did not know the meaning of life and my calling.

Finally from one significant turning point of my life a few years ago, I realized that I was leading a life of other’s design in order to please the world. No wonder I was not good at anything, and was not happy where my life was leading to like a ship caught in a bad storm with no communication with its inner navigator.

There is no single answer or single method that leads to a significant change in one's life. It’s rather a step by step process to be ready for that change and for that inner realization.

I often believed in Spirituality. Now I can connect the Body,
Mind and Spirit in all my works. We cannot lead a healthy life just being physically healthy because without a healthy mind and spirit, the body will suffer eventually. After all it is our beautiful mind and connection with our source that makes us human.

The drastic change in the US and world economy is an experience that we all need to accept and use as an opportunity for growth and development. Focusing on what we have rather than what we don’t have can make a significant shift in our consciousness. It’s amazing what thoughts of our blessings and abundance can do for us.

From many years of studying self-help books and tapes, I found a combination of NLP, Timeline Therapy™ and Hypnotherapy to be one of the best options available to produce positive results in human communication and emotional well-being in an incredibly short period of time compared to other methods available.

As a trained scientist and a quality project manager my habit is to question the validity of a method and to rely upon only reproducible results to tell me how good a method is. For example I have personally observed the life long Phobia and undesired habit change of my class mates to more neutral state during my NLP Practitioner Training with The Tad James Company. So finally I am glad that I found methods that work well when applied appropriately.

It is crucial that we cultivate positive thoughts and train our mind to conduct our moment to moment existence. And it is never too late to learn.

In addition I want to emphasize the importance of taking time off for meditation to quiet the mind everyday at least for 15 minutes.

Meditation is such an essential food for our mind to create an environment for crystal clear thinking and without it
our mind becomes like a cluttered computer about to freeze and eventually crash.

Scientific research indicates the effect of sound technology that is designed to simulate meditation by changing the brain wave from beta wave to alpha wave for example. See following links for more information on brainwave and meditations techniques.

In a nutshell meditation reduces the noise of your brain and thus creates an environment to reprogram your subconscious mind by your design and choice.

Hypnotherapy such as self-hypnosis is one of the effective ways to reprogram your subconscious mind. One can think of self-hypnosis as a desired signal enhancing tool for the mind.
